Jamaica, Vermont

July 30th! 2011

Since its charter in 1780, The Town Of Jamaica, Vermont has undergone many life cycles:
Farmers Cultivated the Fields,
Mills Refined Lumber,
Factories Lined the Rivers,
Sheep Grazed on the Hills,
Shops & Restaurants Defined Main Street.
No Matter What Cycle, Phase, or Era, Jamaica Will Entice You.
A Throwback to the Unspoiled Vermont
Where Every Building has a Story and Every Resident has a Smile.

The last Saturday in July - Jamaica will be the place to be! Main Street will be lined with local artisans, farmers and entertainers. Live entertainment will keep a festive atmosphere throughout the day.

Hungry? Well then, there will be plenty of food on hand to satisfy the hungriest person. Hot dogs hamburgers, fried dough, and of course the Jamaica Community Church Chicken BBQ.

What would a good old fashion summer outing be without games and prizes? Jamaica Old Home Day has something for everyone in the family; games for both children and adults.

Try your luck with the Parade Plop, or The Ducky Dash! Show-Off your eating skills by entering the Pie-Eating Contest.

Jamaica, Vermont:
"The Faces May Change, But The Character Remains The Same."
